Afternoon tea party
A good old British cuppa is the best way to catch up with family and friends and whilst we’re in lockdown, staying connected with others is really important. Host a virtual afternoon tea party for friends and family and donate what you would have spent on tea, coffee and cake for everyone.
- Agree a date and time with friends and family using Zoom, Skype or Houseparty
- Prepare your afternoon tea
- Log on and enjoy a good chat
- Once everyone is logged on share the Group B Strep Support donation page and encourage everyone to donate what they would have spent on the afternoon tea if you had gone out.
Dining out may not be possible right now but why not ask friends and family to donate what they would usually spend on going out to eat and host a virtual dinner party with your loved ones. Prepare your meal, agree a time to log on and you have a great dinner party without the piles of washing up to do after!

Who said you can’t have a “full house” while social distancing? There are plenty of online bingo cards you can download. Ask friends and family for a donation to take part. Get everyone online, pull numbers out of a hat and release your inner bingo caller.

Make a donation
Many of us are finding that we are working from home or cancelling activities outside of the house. This may mean that you find that we are saving money on travel or other expenses. If you are able to, you may want to consider donating those savings to Group B Strep Support.
