Mum Katie told us “When I was pregnant with George I was told I had group B Strep which could be passed onto my baby during labour, and I was scared. I’m so thankful that it was detected during my pregnancy, as it meant I was given antibiotics during labour, they observed George for his first 24 hours and all was fine. So many families are not so lucky and many babies are so poorly with group B Strep infection and sadly some don’t even survive. I really want to try and help make a difference, so that no little life needs to suffer again.”
