Do you enjoy administration and social media?
We’re looking for someone with excellent admin skills, a great telephone manner and the ability to work both as part of a team and independently in our small, busy office.
You’ll be the first in line for enquiries coming in to the office by phone and online – you’ll answer the straightforward questions, referring the more complex or specific to others (training will be given). You’ll answer the phone, send out information and respond to our busy social media channels (primarily facebook and twitter).
You’ll undertake a wide range of administrative duties for Group B Strep Support, and key will be your ensuring enquiries are dealt with promptly by phone, in writing and online, including logging the enquiries and responses using Salesforce. You’ll also help coordinate the charity’s social media activities, and provide admin support for the team – the Chief Executive, the Support Services Officer and the Campaigns & Fundraising Officer.
In addition to your super admin skills, and a can-do attitude, you’ll need an eye for detail, a sympathetic telephone manner, and strong Microsoft Office software skills (Outlook, Word and Excel skills are essential). Knowledge of Salesforce would be a distinct advantage.
This is a very busy office environment and the role will suit a self-starter who has good multi-tasking skills and initiative. As with all small office teams, there are also times when all hands-on deck is required – from providing information, to making the tea, to attending events or even taking the rubbish out!
This role may be best suited to a person who has worked for a small business or in a small team before.
