Our virtual conference this June has been a great success. If you missed it, you can buy tickets to watch the recorded conference until 3 September 2021.
Over 350 delegates registered for the event and over 250 attended live on the day. Delegates took part from countries as far away as Australia and South Africa. There were some lively Q&A sessions which brought forward some fascinating discussion on group B Strep.
A stellar line-up of world-leading experts and brave parents shared news and views in presentations and panel discussions, including on the latest GBS research and policy news (see the conference programme here).
We’re not the only ones who thought the conference was fabulous – 96% of attendees said they were very satisfied/satisfied with the conference, with 95% saying they were extremely/very likely to recommend it to a colleague.
“The overall coverage of the topic, including historic and current scientific aspects, microbiological and clinical data, status of vaccine development, valuable views on both gain and drawbacks of IAP (intravenous antibiotics given in labour to prevent GBS infection in newborn babies), and last but not least, thoughtful comments by parents to those affected by GBS invasive disease.”
