Group B Strep Support is proud to be one of the longest-standing members of the Pregnancy & Baby Charities Network.
The Pregnancy & Baby Charities Network represents UK charities whose focus includes one or more of the following:
- to reduce the number of babies who die during pregnancy, birth or in the early weeks of life
- to reduce morbidity in newborn babies and improve care for these babies and their parents
- to improve care throughout the path to parenthood; before, during and after pregnancy and after losing a baby or pregnancy
Group B Strep Support has worked collaboratively with other pregnancy and baby charities over a number of years to influence policy to address inequalities and improve outcomes across the country.
We are pleased to publish The Pregnancy and Baby Charities Network manifesto below.
We invite all political parties to incorporate its content into their own party manifestos as they pave the way for the next general election.
