On 19 December 2017, the new joint patient information leaflet on group B Strep, jointly written by experts at the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RCOG) and charity Group B Strep Support, was published.
Members of Parliament quizzed the Government on what it is doing to raise awareness of group B Strep.
Labour Melanie Onn, MP for Great Grimsby and Conservative Mims Davies, MP for Eastleigh asked questions of Steve Brine MP, the Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State for Health, about what steps the Government is taking to ensure the leaflet will be provided to all pregnant women.
