It was great to meet with Steve Brine MP Public Health Minister today, organised by Melanie Onn MP for Great Grimsby, and with Anita Dougall, Director of Clinical Quality at the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RCOG) and Prof Paul Cosford, Medical Director of Public Health England.
We discussed how to ensure EVERY pregnant woman in the UK is provided with the new RCOG/GBSS group B Strep infection leaflet.
We are pleased to be working with the Minister, Public Health England and the RCOG on this. We think all would agree that it was a very encouraging meeting, with the Minister clearly keen to help.
