Rugby superstar and one of the world’s leading no. 9s, James Roby, nearly lost his son Ollie to the meningitis caused by group B Strep. This major health scare left James and his wife determined to do all that they could to highlight group B Strep infection in newborn babies and help a charity that is close to their hearts.
James is now lending his support as a Patron of the charity and helping to raise much needed awareness. We are all delighted that he is on board.
Thankfully, a speedy diagnosis for Ollie at hospital meant that he received the life-saving treatment he needed and he is now a healthy, active little seven year old boy.
