2014 Government U-turn on GBS testing

At the very end of 2013, the Department of Health made a devastating, last minute u-turn on a policy decision to make an improved GBS-specific test available at the request of health professionals for pregnant women in their care just days before the scheduled start date of 1 January 2014.
