In memory

When someone you love has passed away, fundraising for a cause can be a helpful way to do something positive. Sometimes being able to channel energy into helping others helps people to deal with a part of their grief.  It can be comforting to know that the money raised in your loved one’s memory will help Group B Strep Support with our vital work to eradicate group B Strep infection in newborn babies, and to support those affected by group B Strep.

Over time, you may want to find some special way of remembering your baby or a special loved one.

Take on a fundraising challenge in memory

Celebrate the life of a loved one by raising money in their memory

Setting up a In Memory page will create a personal tribute to your loved one while raising money for Group B Strep Support.

Set up your In Memory fundraising page via JustGiving, and contributions can be made to the fund through donations received at memorial services and funerals or any fundraising activity for Group B Strep Support. It only takes a few minutes to set up and, once it’s up and running, it’s a quick and secure way for people to donate and leave messages.  Justgiving will automatically transfer the donations to GBSS, adding 25% Gift Aid (when eligible).Once you’ve set up your In Memory fundraising page, there are lots of ways you can share it with friends and family to collect donations for charity.
