July Awareness Month
Group B Strep is the most common cause of life-threatening infection in newborn babies, causing meningitis, sepsis and pneumonia. Most of these infections could be prevented, but around half of pregnant women haven’t even heard of group B Strep – you can help change this!
Every July, we will work hard to make more families and health professionals #GBSaware. This is a chance for us ALL to do our bit. It’s a great opportunity to raise vital awareness of group B Strep and continue the fight to stop group B Strep infection in babies.
We are grateful for the support we receive from all of our partners and supporters during July’s Group B Strep Awareness Month and there are lots of ways you can participate during the month.
We will update this page with our plans for 2018 soon. In the meantime if you would like to get involved with the work of the charity we’d love to hear from you. Please contact us on 01444 416176 or e-mail [email protected]
