Nyah ran the London mini marathon on Sunday 3rd October with 300 other children from the London boroughs. She chose to run for Group B Strep Support because 9 months ago her baby sister Miah was born, and she contracted late onset group B Strep at 7 days old. She developed an infection in her hip and had sepsis and was very ill. You can read her story here https://gbss.org.uk/stories/miah/.
Nyah told us “I’d like to raise money for Group b Strep Support so they can continue to raise awareness of group b Strep infection and to families like mine.“
Nyah has raised £755 which is incredible and is continuing to receive donations https://uk.virginmoneygiving.com/NyahCampbellCaine. Huge congratulations Nyah.
