Melissa told us “On the 18 April 2022 I had my head shaved to raise money for three charities, Group B Strep Support being one of them.
The 18 April marked 10 years since we announced to the world that we were expecting our first child together and the year 2022 marks 10 years since our precious princess began to grow. I loved feeling every movement and hearing her heartbeat at all my antenatal appointments.
Sadly on the 11 December 2012 after a 2 day fight against group B Strep Meningitis, Madison, sadly died peacefully whilst held in mine and her daddies arms. Since losing Madison we have received unbelievable support from Group B Strep Support and Aching Arms UK and I wanted to raise money to help both charities to continue to support families who sadly find themselves in our situation.”
