Luke shared the success of his fundraising event with us.
“Thank you to everyone who donated to help raise awareness for group B Strep. We have heard back from so many incredible families on how they’ve had to deal with the tormenting heartbreak of seeing their little one get seriously ill. We reached out to local businesses and boxing gyms to help spread the word and increase awareness about this disease. I had numerous professional fighters support me in my training and ticket selling to the event.
We got the win! It’s been a gruelling 12 weeks but, the coaching has been phenomenal! I can’t thank Fabio and Ady enough for the work they’ve done to get me ready. The event was top class and will be remembered for a long time. Thank you to my opponent for putting on a great fight.
Joey, my son inspired me and I will always aspire to have his fight. As one big collective unit we got the win! I am not stopping here as I believe there is still work to be done! We will continue to raise awareness and I will be doing another event in March.
