Everyone at Group B Strep Support would like to say an enormous THANK YOU to all of our dedicated #TeamGBSS runners who took part in the 2022 TCS London Marathon on Sunday 2 October.
This year Team GBSS was made up of 9 runners, some experienced, some first-time marathon runners, and some who have been waiting since 2020 to run but they all took to the streets of London each with their own personal story about why they wanted to run for Group B Strep Support. They did us proud!
We rely on fundraising to carry out our work supporting people affected by group B Strep and raising awareness among new and expectant parents , so we are extremely grateful for the money everyone has raised for us. Our nine TCS London Marathon runners have raised over £18,000, thank you to them and everyone who has made a donation.
