Lloyd and Nicola had such an amazing time fundraising for Group B Strep Support by taking part in the Cardiff Half Marathon.
Lloyd writes “Well what can I say… That was a fantastic experience for Nik and myself! The weather was great if anything too warm. We did it in 2 hours and 31mins which we are over the moon with!
We have smashed our £200 target and we are now at over £400.
Our main motivation has been that if the money we raise will stop one family going through the pain of finding out about GBS after a baby is born rather than being aware of it before hand then the pain we have been through today will be worth it! The tests and information should be more readily available than it is so if the money we have raised helps in anyway then it’s worth all the hard work.
It has been a pleasure to raise money for such an amazing charity!”
