Laura writes ” I thought the event was fantastic. It was so hot but the event was brilliantly managed by Virgin. It was great to be part of such a fun, lively, big event and it was great knowing you were there at a cheer point, seeing you all there with the flags, smiles and waves gave me a real boost!
Having the GBS t-shirt, flags and leaflets sent to me in plenty of time was fantastic and your support and emails pre and post event were wonderful so thank you.
I saw some of the GBSS runners on the course, who all said hello which was brilliant! It might be nice to try and coordinate a group picture/ meet at future events? Not sure how practically feasible that is though given the timings of the day.
Finally huge thanks to you and all at GBSS; for what you do and what you believe in. You are such an important charity and raising money for your cause has been a real honour.”
