This July, James took on his first ever 100km ultramarathon, tackling the original Race to the Stones challenge to Avebury stone circle, in memory of his son TJ.
James told us “I’m doing this to raise money for Group B Strep Support (GBSS) – group B Strep is the reason why TJ is not with us today.
The race itself was rather tough to say the least, especially with the weather we had which was against us on the day.
I’m glad to have got it done, but it was the motivation of what the charity does and the memories of TJ, my son, that kept me going, in particular at night when we were under torchlight.”
James has raised an incredible £7819 for Group B Strep Support. If you would like to show your support you can do so by visiting his JustGiving page here https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/james-osborne17
