Emma told us “Myself & my husband Rory climbed Mount Errigal, Co. Donegal on 25th April 2021, and raised funds through donations to climb the mountain. It was certainly a challenge as I’m a Type 1 Diabetic and I had never done anything like that since my diagnosis. What a great experience!
We spilt the donations between GBSS & the NeoNatal unit that treated our son at the time of his illness.
We have certainly made a difference in raising awareness in our local area as a few woman I know through work got tested during their pregnancy and tested positive and received the correct treatment, all babies were born healthy!
