On 17 July Theo turned one and his parents asked friends and family to donate to Group Strep B Support instead of buying him a present or a card because of the valuable support they received from the charity. To date, they have raised £550.
Lydia told us “As Theo’s 1st birthday approached, I had been reflecting on his first year and the incredible rollercoaster we had been on – one that nearly didn’t get started.
When Theo was born, he was floppy, didn’t cry, and needed oxygen, luckily the midwife noticed something wasn’t right straight away and, after a brief cuddle with Phil and me, he was taken to intensive care.
