“The day was truly fantastic, and it was incredibly special to have my family and friends cheering me on from the sidelines. A particularly meaningful moment was having my nephew Theo there to support me—especially given that he was born with Strep B.
There were definitely some tough moments during the run, but knowing that I was raising both money and awareness for families affected by Strep B kept me going. It felt so rewarding to know I was making a difference.
I would absolutely encourage anyone who’s considering it to take part—it’s an experience you won’t forget, and the cause is so important.”
