Amy shared her Pride Park Walk with us:-
“In June 2023, we faced the heart-breaking loss of our little boy, Teddy, at just 5 weeks old. To honour his memory and raise awareness about group B Strep, in 2024 we organised a charity walk for the second year running. This walk is nearly 10 miles, starting from my partner’s (Teddy’s daddy) hometown and ending at our local football stadium, Pride Park. We successfully raised £1,229.
In 2025, we held another walk from Ilkeston to Sheffield, raising £3,127.19 and bringing our total fundraising amount to £19,699.54 since we began our fundraising in Teddy’s memory.
While nothing can bring back Teddy, it helps us as a family to know we might help another family avoid having to go through what we have.”
