The TCS London Marathon is the largest annual fundraising event on the planet and we’d love for you to run this incredible race.
Whether you already have your own place or you’d like to apply for a charity place, join team GBSS at the TCS London Marathon 2024 and play your part in helping to save babies’ lives.

Charity place
To apply for a place on our team you will be asked to pledge to raise a minimum of £2500 (excluding gift aid). We will be in touch with further details of your application after you have registered your details.
Own Place
If you’re lucky to get a place, you can still run for us and help save babies’ lives.
If you are successful in securing a ballot place or ‘good for age’ place in the TCS London Marathon, you can still run with Group B Strep Support – we’d love to have you on the team!
You’ll get all the same support as our charity place runners but without a minimum sponsorship pledge. To join our team, email the Fundraising Team fundraising@gbss.org.uk as we’d love to support you all the way to the start line.
We will be with you every step of the way:
- Dedicated fundraising and training support, including a fundraising pack and regular updates
- Your own GBSS t-shirt or running vest
- A loud and bright cheering team along the route
- Facebook group so you can meet other runners and feel like a real team
