Back again for 2024 – walk, Jog, or Run the Lake District Challenge and take on England’s finest countryside at your pace. Test yourself on a fantastic Ultra Challenge – suitable for all experience levels – and you’ll get the best support & hospitality all the way.
Join us on the Lake District Challenge and take on England’s finest countryside at your pace. Our wonderful route takes you over some tough hills, Garburn Pass, into Ambleside, through our half way point by the idyllic Lake Windermere, into some forests, and nature reserves all with some stunning views, all based around our Kendal basecamp, where you will get full support & hospitality, optional camping / hostel, and with half & quarter distance options–there’s a Lake District Challenge for everyone!
Your entry includes a range of free food &drink at regular rest stops, and support from medics, marshals and massage teams. As you cross the finish line, you’ll get a glass of fizz, t-shirt, and a special medal to celebrate your achievement.
