- You commit to raising the minimum sponsorship for Group B Strep Support (GBSS) for the event you have registered for. If you are unable to meet the minimum sponsorship, you may choose to make up the balance yourself or you may lose your place.
- For all events, your full minimum sponsorship amount must be paid to GBSS within 4 weeks of the event date.
- To represent and raise money for GBSS on an exclusive basis
- If you do not take part in the event, any sponsorship money raised will be treated as donations unless your sponsors contact GBSS directly for a refund.
- If you are unable to take part in the event due to injury or other unforeseen circumstances, you must let us know as soon as possible by emailing fundraising@gbss.org.uk so that we can withdraw your place. If your place is withdrawn before the registration console closes, you will no longer be liable to meet your fundraising pledge and you will stop receiving event‑related communications. If you withdraw after the registration console closes, we won’t be able to reallocate your place. In these circumstances, you may be asked to cover the cost of the registration fee.
- You agree to raise all money using legal methods and complying with the advice given in the fundraising pack.
- You understand that Gift Aid is not included in your minimum sponsorship. The money raised from Gift Aid is a valuable bonus for GBSS.
- You confirm that, to the best of your knowledge, your general state of health and fitness is good, and you take full responsibility for your training. You take part in this event at your own risk.
- You confirm that you will be the minimum age required to take part in the event. For more information on age requirements for specific events, please email fundraising@gbss.org.uk.
- All funds raised for GBSS through the event will be made payable to Group B Strep Support.
- You agree to GBSS storing the information that you provided on their database. Please see our privacy policy for details.
- You give GBSS permission to use any photographs or videos taken of you at this event, to raise awareness or money for GBSS.
- You agree that GBSS will share your details with the event organiser.
- You are responsible for arranging travel, accommodation and other logistics for your event where needed. GBSS is unable to provide support for these logistics.
- You understand that your registration fee is not refundable and includes VAT.
- By signing up, you agree that the GBSS Events team can contact you by email and phone about your participation in the event you have registered for. This is only for the purpose of communicating essential event information.
