How to donate

Supporting GBSS makes a real difference.

Group B Strep Support is a completely independent charity. We are mainly supported by the kind donations, including from people like you. We are a small charity and keep our overheads to a minimum so that donations received are used to achieve our goals. A small donation can go a long, long way – so please do support Group B Strep Support with whatever you can.

There are lots of ways to support Group B Strep Support.

You can become a Friend of Group B Strep Support by making donations monthly or annually – you’ll also receive our regular newsletter with updates on events, news and research as it happens. You can also organise a sponsored event, or host a Big GBSS Bake Sale in support of the charity.

Every day 2 babies develop a group B Strep infection in the UK – Joshua was one of them.

His mum Kathryn is just ONE of the many families we support every day. Read more about Joshua’s story here

We couldn’t do what we do without our amazing supporters. Without you, we couldn’t continue our work to stop GBS infection in babies.  Thank you for everything you do.

“1 in 4 women carry it and don’t know they have it, I never got swabbed or checked for it. If I can help others and raise awareness of GBS by my story, please find and sign the petition for pregnant women being tested in the UK.”
